Our History
A great deal has changed in the blueberry industry in the 80+ years since John Moore and his son, Harry, planted their first 5 acres of blueberries in 1941. During the 1950s and 1960s, they expanded their farm locations to approximately 80 acres. Harry and his wife Lorraine, became owners of the blueberry operation in 1973. Their sons, Neil and Willie, purchased the Cutts Brothers blueberry farm in 1979, and Ivanhoe Blueberry Farms, Inc. was established.
The business has always been a family operation and currently continues into the 4th generation. Through years of hard work and dedication, the expansion of the business has increased to include approximately 600 acres of blueberries in production.
The Moore family prides themselves on producing quality fruit and continues the legacy of being "Carolina's Finest"!
